Ever wonder exactly where they make those shows that play on the snowy Jesus channels? A good number are made at the Trinity Christian Center in very up-scale Costa Mesa.
I never noticed it before, but the Trinity Broadcasting Network logo bears a disturbing resemblance to the Coat of Arms of the British Royal Family. Maybe the Royal Family should sue for trademark infringement...
The reason I mention the neighborhood is the extreme gaudiness of the center. Every single piece of trim is encrusted in lights. They used to blink, but the neighbors finally put their collective foot down. From the freeway, a twelve-foot-high sign proclaims "Happy Birthday, Jesus!"
It's a good thing that I am far from being a professional photographer.
