Rob came down this weekend for two reasons: 1) to deliver important tax documentation to his financial person; and 2) to return a self-cleaning litter box (It wasn't dissatisfaction, far from it-- like most technophiles, Rob simply must have the latest model of everything).
On the way back from the airport, the Smogmobile 2000™ was passed by this funky limousine. This was a good omen of strange things to come.
Rob just enjoys the phrase, "el Sexo." Next slide, please.
The latest Smogmobile 2000™ "feature" is the Automatic Anti-Theft Ignition Shut-off. It consists of a frayed battery cable that is held against the contact with packing tape.
It's a bad photo (digital zoom), but this is a little statuette of an owl that sits on top of a local gas station, probably to scare away other birds.
Cat box delivered, mission accomplished! We were tempted to go into the Cat Show, but it was outside our budget constraints.
On the way back, Paul saw this vintage clothing outlet and forced us to stop. Even the things dangling in the window were garish enough to make one want to claw out one's eyes.
In his usual bad taste, Paul purchases and then proceeds to wear this ghastly tam.
