The room is warm, and comfortable, Sunlight filters in from a window on the far wall, pale yellow curtains adorning it. Framed photographs of friends and family are hung on the walls, and a spare bed is made up neatly in the corner.
Tall fir trees surround the house you've just exited. a narrow dirt path leads into the trees, winding a few meters before it dissappears into the darkening shadows of the huge trees. The smell of the forest draws you nearer.
Continuing the path, you notice it becomes less and less traveled, and clear, yet there are very few obstructions to cross, just a fallen branch every now and then. You come to a well trampled, part that appears wider than the rest, but the path soon becomes narrow and barely visable once more.
Following the path to the endo, you stumble into a dim clearing. In the middle of the clearing is a pond with a small rock waterfall. A river extends from the pond far to your right and out of sight. The water is a brilliant blue-green, and it trickles noisily down the rocks into the waiting pond.
A small silver goblet is lying on it's side on a rock at the mouth of the path. Picking it up, you notice it is sterling silver, encrusted with emeralds along the rim. It is slightly dirty, but wiping it softly with a cloth, you notice it sparkles briliantly in the sunlight.
Looking down your gaze catches on a heavy looking, old fashioned key. you pick it up. it's caked with dirt, adding to your thought that it must be extremely old. a faded pink ribbon is tied onto the end of it, it's edges tattered and frayed. it looks as if it unlocked a young girl's diary or toy chest at some point in time.
