The room is warm and open, smelling like fire, oak and cinnamon. The back and left walls are lined floor to ceiling with bookshelves containing dusty tomes and thick spined hard covers. Some have strange lettering but most I understand. They look worn and well loved. The wall before me is mostly glass with wide glass door. Though tightly shut it gives the impression of open space as light filters through in a scattered manner from a patchy forest canopy above the balcony outside. In front the glass windows sits a large table with a laptop thrumming quietly, invitingly. There is a thick deep red rug that stops abruptly to join the wooden floor that is the other half of the room. I awoke on a plush couch, facing the window wall, with a tall lampshade to my left. The right wall contains a fireplace currently roaring, heating the room gently. The mantle is adorned with artefacts, wooden masks hung upon the walls and strange trinkets and carvings of beasts and cats sitting comfortably around the area.

The forest is thick and seems old. The trees are tall and strong, thick trunks with underbrush weaving around them. The leaves form a dense canopy above me but it lets in enough light to form a shadowy golden tinge around me. The forest is deep green, like a sea of wood and leaf and earth. There are strange dark and solid colored flowers in the bushes, berries and other small round fruit. I like the forest and its warm enveloping nature.

There is a fast wide river cutting through this forest. I can see the other bank clearly. It is deep and the water is crashing in and off the rocks. It is like a rafting river and I suspect it is coming down from a mountain leading to probably a waterfall of some sort later. Some parts are quiet and perhaps navigable. The water is very cold and matches the crisp air. Light splashes off the clear blue and white foam. I would love to drink the water as it seems like it is crystal clear, cool and clean.

There is a thick leather drinking pouch, dark brown with some engraved patterns on the skin. It is like something that I would see in like a ranger's kit in fantasy novels. It has a rubber plug and a long leather strap that can go around me. It is rather large and can hold quite a lot of fluid. I wonder who dropped it?

I find an old iron key. It is larger than my hand and is heavy. The key handle is ornate and has a large carved out hole which makes me think it would dangle well off a belt or big loop. It seems like something that would open a large chest. I think of a wooden chest with iron inlay full of books and maps and all sorts of interesting things.
