I am laying on my back on some sort of foam mattress lying on a platoe of a shallow grassy hill. I’m looking up at a low cloudy white domed roof that seems to cover the entire hill as well as a flat area that surrounds my hill. The air is cool, the way that I like it.

Sitting up, I realize that I am in a Bio-dome.

There are 2 trees in my line of sight, and probably less than 5 trees in the remaining areas I haven’t looked at. There are no bushes, shrubs, or weeds- Just the few trees I mentioned. There is no one else here with me. I’m just sitting on a mattress on top of a hill. I’m a little bit lonely.

I found a heavy metal door at the rim of the single arching wall of the bio dome. The world outside leads to an unusually tall forest of pine tress. The trees look like they were stretched upwards; they look to be about 6 or 7 stories tall.

It seems the world in which this all takes place on has low gravity. I feel very light, and the trees are absurdly tall, yet ridiculously thin. They don’t seem like they should be capable of withstanding their own weight and height, but they do. I feel… intimidated. I get the idea that the forest is not inhabited my predators, but I still don’t feel comfortable entering.

The trees are spaced far enough apart to allow for a considerable amount of light to enter. The branches of the trees don’t intertwine to produce a canopy, the trees are perfectly independent, tall, and study (despite how they look)

<addl>That the trees are “thin yet tall” is a conflict of imagery. Perhaps the adults were only superficially influential, maintaining the illusion of interest without actually contributing.</addl>

The path seems to have orange gravel on top, preventing the weeds from growing out of the path. The path is a perfectly level walkway, cut three inches below the grass level. The path occupies a clean empty grass field which suddenly erupts into a tall forest.

The path seems to be… 6 feet wide. I suppose the path would not be easy to see, if I had not been standing directly on it. The path makes a geometrically straight line to the forest.
