There is just enough light to see but not so much that there aren't large shadows covering the furniture. There are stacks of books lying around that vary from Lovecraft to Arthur Conan Doyle. A single laptop sits in the center of a black marble desk. There is a picture of a succubus on the screen.
Old knotted oak trees that have grown abnormally. Instead of straight they are leaning.
It can be easily navigated. Narrow. It's an abandoned road. Clearly marked.
It's as if it were an ocean or some large lake. The water itself is cold and crystal clear.
It is a silver flask with a crest on the front.
It is a black key. Very small. It fits easily into my palm. It looks as if it were meant to unlock something of great importance. Perhaps treasure.
