the room is cool, slightly humid, and comfortable. my bed spread is thin but heavy. the morning light through the windows softly illuminates the room and i can faintly smell lavender from the bowl on the dresser.
the forest is boreal, made mostly of tall evergreens. its bright but heavily shaded by the canopy.
the path is more a well-travelled trail. the path is narrow but clearly marked. it is easily navigated but i can tell that it curves.
the water is a clear, fast moving stream flowing from a spring. the water is clean, cold and refreshing.
the cup is a thick, red and black coffee mug with a handle wide enough that i can put four fingers through to hold it.
the key looks like a house key. it must unlock some kind of door.
