the room is comfortably warm, neither too hot nor too cold. the furnishings are plain and modern, light wood to match the hardwood floor. there is a large bed with a blue duvet, and lots of pillows. the bed is comfortable. there are many windows in the room, and lots of sunlight is spilling in. there is a desk facing a large bay window, and a bookshelf filled with books next to it. there are framed photographs on the wall, but no other decorations.
There are fragrant pine trees all around. It is shady but sunlight filters through the trees. the ground is covered in a soft carpet of pine needles. there are birds singing, it is not dark nor unpleasant, but peaceful.
the path is wide, there are no obstructions. it looks old and well traveled and is bordered clearly by the trees.
The path comes to a lively little river about 10 yards wide. the water is crystal clear, and not too deep, and there are large rocks in the river to climb on and sit on.
there is a red nalgene bottle filled with water sitting on the the riverbank.
There is a typical, nondescript house key in the middle of the path.
