The room is warm because the bed is piled with quilts. They are beautiful quilts, composed of intricate patterns made up of geometric shapes. The ceiling of the room slopes down on one side. It seems the room is at the top of the house, or it is in an attic. The curtains are somewhat transparent so that a great deal of sunlight pours through them. The walls are paneled with dark stained wood. There are simple furnishings, a dresser and a large trunk.

The trees in the forest are tall fir trees. The forest floor is carpeted with their needles and also with a soft moss. There is a great deal of visibility beneath the trees because the undergrowth is not very thick. There are some fallen trees here and there and these are covered with different types of mushrooms and fungus which take on fascinating different shapes and colours. The light beneath the trees is of a medium intensity. Some light filters through the tree branches, but it is fairly dark.

The path beneath the trees is easy to walk upon because the fir tree needles keep weeds from springing up to choke the path. There are some brambles beneath the trees, mostly blackberries. The path is narrow and it is not clearly marked. Sometimes it is visible and sometimes it is not, but it is always possible to see where the path picks up again, even if it is some distance ahead.

I imagine that it might unlock an enchanted palace or a secret garden.
