The room is warm. There is a creaky bed, metal frame. Terrible mattress. It has bare walls that are grey.

The forest is thick with trees, but it is very bright, sun shining down through the canopy. The trees are tall and very old, dark brown with strong bark.

The path is thick with leaves and old dead branches. It crunches under my feet, but is very clear and relatively unobstructed. It is worn, but still for the most part untouched.

It is a thin river, not deep, but the current is quick. It is passible, however. The water is very clean and cold enough to refresh.

The flask is a traveller's canteen. Old, burnished metal, and can hold about a liter of water.

The key is an old-style mediveal key, large and with the flat metal buck-tooth hanging style. It looks like it would unlock an old gate or door in a castle.
