The room is warm with sunlight streaming in through a large curtained window, the colours are neutral yet warm. The room has an old fashioned feel and old fashioned trimmings which adds another kind of warmth. The bed is large and comfortable with a large duvet and lots of pillows.
It is dark under all the trees but there are intermittent patches of sunlight that allow full visibility in the moss covered ground. The trees are tall firs which offer the smell of pine needles at Christmas.
The path is dry uncovered soil and well trodden with the obvious print of horses and the odd tyre track where someone has ridden through on a bike. The path is wide enough to wal down comfortably avoiding the the exposed tree roots.
The body of water is a stream and a fast flowing one. It is wide enough that it means you can't jump across but there is a large tree with a branch that afford safe passage across, there is also a rope hanging from another tree that will get you across safe and dry. The water is fast moving so there is lots of white froth but otherwise it is dark and peat filled water.
The flask is a typical one that your grandparents would have and has a tartan pattern on it, one that would math a picnic rug. Enough volume for 4 cups of tea.
The key is large old lokinking and rusty. It is a long key with a shape like a castle turret on the end. It is well weathered and looks like it would open an old gate or shed door.
