The room is wide. The walls are matte, grayish blue. Some modern-looking furniture adorns the far end: a royal blue chair and a black-topped table, atop a blank, smooth floor. The near end has a paisley couch and an antique wood table, and a wood floor.
The forest is lit by shafts of light coming through the trees. The trees are very green and very tall. They are unfamiliar, and look like rainforest trees.
The path is narrow, and not very well-travelled, though visible. It runs in a straight line, with no trees or plants in the way.
The water is a clear stream that flows from left to right down a moderately steep hill. It isn't very deep, and there are beautiful round stones at the bottom. The water is ice cold.
The vessel is a goblet, made of tarnished silver. It has tiny holes around the rim, and tiny diamonds around the bulging handle. I wonder how you drink out of it. It looks like it shouldn't belong here.
The key is small and made of bright silver. It has a squarish head, elegant flat neck, and squarish teeth. It must unlock an old house.
