The room is dusty, shadowy, and cluttered. there are rich, old-fashioned, heavy brocade furniture and tiffany-style lamps with prisms hanging. There are piles of books, and a cat.
Light filters through a canopy of leaves, bright green and the ground is mossy and loamy. There are ferns and it is very silent.
The path is clearly and well worn. It is only wide enough for one person to walk at a time, and there are often felled trees that one must step over.
The water is a very cold and clear running stream, narrow and shallow enough to wade across but one crosses it by walking on a fallen log that connects the creekbanks. the water moves quickly and the creekbed is very rocky and slimy.
It is a small quite shiny flask with someones initials engraved on it in an oldfashioned swirling script.
The key is rusty an cobwebby, almost completely hidden from view and half buried in the dirt. It is a skeleton key ans I don't know what it unlocks
