The room is warm, like an early summer's day. It seems to be early morning, because the light coming through the large windows makes the whole room seem golden. I'm in a large four-poster bed. It is carved and gilded and the other furniture in the room matches it. The sheets are creamy white and petal-soft and the bedspread is a deep red color. The rug that is laying on top of the hardwood floors is thick and lush, with a pattern of interlacing tree branches and leaves. There are some paintings on the walls, semi-erotic paintings of partially clothed people, done in rich colors that complement the rest of the room's furnishings.

There seem to be several different kinds of trees, though I don't know what they are called. The trees are spaced much farther apart at the edges of the forest, and get denser the farther I go in. There is a very mysterious, yet peacefully patient sort of air about this forest.

The path is easily navigated and of a medium width. It is made of dirt and is very clearly marked. It appears to be well-traveled, but is currently abandoned.

I see that the path ends at a swiftly-moving river. I can see rocks at the bottom. The water is crystal clear, but it is deep and appears dark. There are dappled shadows created by the over-hanging trees. Some leaves and a few stray flower-petals float on the surface of the water.

It is made of wood, finely carved and delicately crafted. It is of a medium size, with flowers and vines all around the sides. It feels soft and polished when I pick it up.

The key is somewhat large and old-fashioned looking, with curlicues at the top, and feels heavy in the palm of my hand. It is made of pewter and looks old, or at least well-used. I imagine that it unlocks a chest full of treasure.
