The room has four walls. One is blue; one is a wall of many colors; one has a large, clear window; and one has a heavy, creaky door, which is open. The temperature is very comfortable. In the center of the room is a chair, and surrounding the chair are a lamp, a book, a bow, and a knife.
On the outskirts of the forest there are only tall pine trees. Further in, there are exotic trees with great blue leaflets, spherical growths, and wonderfully gnarled trunks. The forest is dark, but some of the trees glow. The forest is quiet and welcoming.
The path is not straight at all, and it bends around trees left and right, sometimes wide and sometimes narrow. Centuries ago, it was a busy and well-traveled path, but now it has been abandoned. Broken wagon wheels are scattered by the roadside in a few places. The road is enchanted to make it easy to navigate, but it is hard to see the road in the first place.
The water is a deep blue river, not too wide, but very deep. The water sloshes back and forth quietly. A little further away, the river empties into a large, light-colored lake which is covered with lily pads. On the other side of the river, there is a beautiful fruit tree, with golden fruit.
A clear glass bottle with a round convex body and thin cylindrical neck lies by river bank. It is corked. Inside the bottle, a red, strawberry-colored gas swirls around energetically.
The key is old and worn. It's made from a green bronze. The front of the key is warm when you hold it; the back is icy cold. It probably unlocks the imposing door to the room where I awoke.
