The room is moderately warm and kind of muggy. An empty wooden chair with a worn red leather pad sits in the center illuminated by a single lamp hanging from the ceiling; dust can be seen floating through the air in the pale yellow light. There is a single Victorian style window but nothing can be seen through it for it is a perfect black night outside, it is quiet and no noise is heard. Bookshelves line three sides of the room; the old hard covered books that decorate the shelves lose a lot of detail in the dim lighting. The last wall had an old wooden door with a worn gold plated knob, the brass underneath can be seen where the gold no longer resides.

The dark mysterious pine trees tower above me reaching for the sky; the shadows beneath them are blobs resembling large rocks and roughage. The wind rustles slightly through the branches, the only sign of movement that can be made out.

Rocks are pushed to the side in many places along the trail but some have long since rolled back into the path. Plants adorn the sides and some grasses have begun to make their home along the interior of the path where the light of the day can better reach the ground.

The noise of the angry water fills the area and boulders can be seen obstructing the waters path through the woods. A downed tree lies to the side of where the path ends, laying into the water at an angle catching random drift wood and foam. The water itself seems dark from a distance in the night but clear and clean when close. The ripples catch what little night light there is and reflect it back for the stars to see.

It’s a simple mug, constructed of a hollowed out piece of wood. I has no handle and the bottom is slightly rounded, but the top has a hole in the wall with a thin twine line that loops through it, possibly as a means of caring. It is no longer useful though because it has started to degrade away and looks as if its former strength as left it with time, green coating portions of its body. The bottom has some mud caked on it from the bank, but the cup itself seems in fairly good condition still. It must have been treated or coated in some sealant at one point in its life.
