The room is a little cold, which makes it difficult to get out of bed. While the walls are painted off-white, all of the furniture is in the red-orange color family. Some of the accent pieces are a glassy green. The decor is similar to rooms seen on Star Trek, in which the designers attempted to make the future seem familiar.
The trees in the forest are deciduous, maples and elms and the like. While it is possible to see, light is at a premium. There is little else besides trees and some ground cover. The forest is well manicured.
The path is well-travelled. It is made of dirt, but well marked, as though many people had used it before. It turns a bit, but is still visible for some distance.
The water is located in a stream, which is approximately 7 or 8 feet wide. It is passable, but your feet are likely to become wet. The water is clear and clean, but there are spots where turbulence has caused some foam and a translucent appearance.
The drinking vessel is a tall, narrow bowl. It is constructed of strips of wood and held together with bands of metal and finishing nails. The wood is as dark as maple.
The key is a golden color and looks well used. It is still usable. It probably unlocks a deadbolt or a second lock.
