The room is large and eeirly dark. The only warmth from the room is the flickering of the fire in the huge walk-in fire place. The floor and walls are made of the same damp grey stone. The fire sends light across the walls ingnigting images of uniforms and weapons from Midevil times. The bed I am on is very ornate with dark hard woods and the bedding is heavy dark material that is both soft and warm. Across the room i can barely make out a table with two chairs. Both are made of the same dark wood of the bed frame.

It is a cool damp morning where the sun is breaking up a low hanging fog. I see the forest ahead. The trees are all of tall evergreen. The trees are so thick that as i look down the forest turns to black. The grass is short and wet from the mist.

The narrow hardly worn dirt path leads straight into the dark recesses of the forest. There are no obstructions in the way of the path.

I approach a river that is about 20 feet across. It is moving at a fast pace. I look around and there are no rapids. The water is a dark blue color, almost a blue-grey. I reach down to touch it and it is ice cold.

There is a shiny large gold goblet with sapphires and rubies encrusted in the bowl. The goblet is heavy and seems almost akward in my hands.

I find a rusty old key that looks like it has been lying here for decades. It looks like a skeleton key that would open a door to a room.
