It is cool, but smeels faintly of old wooden furniture. It is not very bright, and sparsely furnished. There is a large old bed covered with a hand made quilt. along one wall is a dresser with a huge mirror on top of it. There are a number of small thing laying on the dresser, some small pieces of jewelry, a few tiny boxes and a candle.
On the other side of the room is a shiftrobe with it's door slightly open to reveal a robe and other nondescript clothing inside.
there is a window, but there is little light coming in since it is dark out and the window has a fairly heavy drapery.
The floors are hardwood, light brown, and polished to a high gloss. There is a rug with a floral design on it.
The forest is heavily scented by the pine trees which stretch as far as the eye can see in either direction. The trees are healthy with an occasional patch of moss growing on the side.
the path is a small footpath, lightly traveled by foot, or perhaps animals. It winds amongst the trees, but is unencumbered by underbrush.
The water is a cold mountain stream, bubbling over rocks half-buried in the mud of the stream bed. The water is clear, and moving fairly quickly. Small saplings lean over the stream from the banks, and the stream curves away in a ragged arc to the left. There are minnows visible in the water.
The cup is a coffee mug, brown ceramic, with a crack that runs part way down one side. It says "Worlds Be.." on the side
An old skeleton key. The key has a faint patina of rust over its black iron surface. One end of the key has two prongs that have a intricate design on it. The other end is a stylized representation of a rose.
