The room is bare and chilly and without any windows. The floor is made of old, dark, scratched up wood, and contrasts sharply with the white walls. Furniture is minimal and consists of only a bed and dressing table. The door is closed.

I am having trouble making out the types of trees in the forest as it is rather dark outside. There is nearly a full moon on this night which is providing enough light to see by. The trees appear to reach far into the clouds.

I notice a narrow trail that winds through the trees. It is fairly easy to navigate though does appear neglected and a bit overgrown.

The trail ends on the bank of a small river. The water is dark and and rushing over the stones and broken tree limbs in its way. The moon appears to be dancing on the surface.

Discarded on the ground is a silver flask of some sort. It seems to have been left quite some time ago and is badly tarnished and covered with dirt.

The key is caked with dirt and mostly covered when I discover it. I have not a clue what it unlocks, but will take it with me anyway.
