The room is rather cool. There is a large couch against one wall, and bookshelves full of books against the other three walls. There are no other furnishings.
The forest is dark, and a little spooky. The trees seem to be mostly conifers, with a few oak, ash, and similar temperate zone trees scattered around.
The path has been almost completely abandoned, and thus is very narrow and not easy to see. However, it's easy to navigate if you put forth a little effort.
A slow stream, full of dark, yet clean water. It's moving fairly quickly, and seems to be much deeper than it looks.
The cup is almost a chalice or goblet, but it has no decoration. It seems to be made of a silvery metal... could be real silver, steel, or even polished iron.
The key is old, almost black with age. It looks like it's mostly for show - the lock it opens can't be complicated at all. It might unlock an ancient tower.
