The path is a simple dirt path. It is defined only by the absense of underbrush, so it meanders slightly around the trees. The path is only wide enough for two people to walk side-by-side.
The water is a swift, shallow brook. The water is quite clear, and I can see the smooth rocks underneath.
It is a simple wooden cup. It is only big enough to hold one swallow of water. It appears to be reasonably clean for a cup that has been abandoned in the middle of a forest.
The key is large. It is an old-fashioned key, with large, distinct teeth and loops on the handle. I would guess that it unlocks a gate in a spiky iron fence.
