It's quite chilly. There's sunlight coming in the open window, and a thin white curtain is blowing in the breeze. There's a bed almost in the middle of the room and a dresser with a mirror on it against one wall. Everything's wooden, but the walls are painted off-white.

Lots of maple trees with pine and spruce interspersed. There's some light coming through between the trees, but at ground level, things are quite dim.

The path is overgrown, but mostly with moss and the occasional bush. It's quite easy to walk along, though two people would have to move in single-file. It doesn't look to have been used very frequently in recent years.

A small stream. The water is moving quite quickly, splashing between the moss-covered rocks. Mosquitos are buzzing around it annoyingly, but the breeze keeps them from inflicting too much damage.

A big rusty key, the old-fashioned kind with a square end, and a big ring at the other end. It probably unlocks a box or chest.
