The room is very open and white, the air cool enough to be comfortably so. The furnishings in the room are all the same shade of white as the paint, making them hard to see without the contrast, but upon closer scrutiny, one would see that they are of the modern, minimalist type. Oddly enough, the abundance of white in the room is comfortable to the eyes instead of blinding.

Given the loss of time sense as well as direction, one is uncertain whether it is dawn or dusk, but a beautiful sky of rose, gold, violet, and orange makes the greens of the forest warm and inviting. The trees seem to have been untouched by time. Evergreens all, it would have taken at least ten men with their arms stretched around to ring each tree. It is neither bright nor dark, since the trees grow with ample space between them to let light through in patches.

A path into the forest could be discerned through the grass and wildflowers that grow about the place. Although clear, it seems that people or even animals have left it untraveled for quite some time. It is wide enough to let a cart pass, but little else. Given the absence of wheel tracks, I would have to say that it is more likely that it had been a foot path rather than a major road. One needs to watch out for loose stones, but there is little else that litters the path, except for a stray twig or two.

The base itself is strange in that it is a diamond, cut into a flat disc. The cup itself feel like crystal, crafted so well one could see through it and there would be no distortion of the image on the other side of the glass.

It could only be assumed to be a key given that the disc found seems to fit into a mechanism of some sort. It is in the shape of a medallion with runes cut into its surface. It is made of brightly polished copper, it almost looks like gold. The back side is full of deliberately grooves that seem to fit into something like a gear. A handle that pops up when one presses the central rune reveals a means of possibly turning it. Maybe it unlocks a door of some sort.
