It is some sort of attic room. There is a big curtainless window with sunlight shining through it. I can see the dust particles in the air. I am in a brass bed with very clean white linen. There is a book and a vase of white lilies on a bedside cabinet. The floor has bare boards, but is clean and warm to my feet. There is a stripey rug next to the bed. In one corner there is a wash basin with white towels hanging next to it. In another there is a chair with my clothes hanging over the back. The room is sparse, and yet comfortable and warm. It makes me feel happy. The door has a big metal key on the inside of the lock, but is standing open.
The trees are big pines. It is dawn. Sunlight is shining through the trees, dappling the forest floor, which is soft and warm with pine needles and cones. There is a dusty path curving ahead.
The path is easily navigated and clear. It is fairly wide and well travelled, and yet seems secret....
It is a lake with gentle waves lapping against the sandy shore. The water is deep, clear, cold and inviting.
It is an old fashioned goblet, made from some sort of heavy metal, with a handle on each side. It is smooth and simple, yet attractive.
It unlocks some sort of fairytale house... Goldilocks' or Snow White's. It is a big, iron, elaborate key.
