It is a warm room with a black leather couch and modern art. There is a deep shag pile carpet and a roaring fire. The room is big enough that the heat is only mild unless you are directly in front of the fire. The floors are polished hardwood and the walls have creamy wallpaper. There are a few african tribal masks on the walls and two replica swords that are battle ready. I think there may be a secret passage somewhere in here
The trees are sparse although there is a dense underbrush. the forest buzzes with the feel of life and animal cries and bird calls can be heard. The sunlight is only partially obscured by the swaying branches, but this serves only to highlight how bright the sunlight is.
The path is fairly easy to navigate. Once it was a gravel path and easy to use, but with time it has become dusty and the lines have blurred. It winds and turns around the trees, but there is no trouble following it. It is free from obstructions. The path is about three feet wide.
The water is a fast moving river with flecks of foam and fast moving pieces of debris on the surface. It is icy cold water and has strong taste of minerals. It is extremely refreshing and very dangerous to be near as the footing is treacerous
The cup is a beaker made of tarnished copper or bronze. It is a simple cup with no ornamentation or handle.
The key is a generic steel one that many people own. It is blank though and has a world of possibilities. WIth time, this could be made to open a house, a post box or any door.
