The room is dark. The walls are thin and made out of some sort of unattractive fake substance. They're a palish yellow-green. The carpet is a ghastly purple, and thick yellow curtains block out light from the outside (although the window only faces a huge white shed inches away from it anyway). There are dark wooden cubbyholes for everyone to put their things in. There are always arguments over them, since they're not assigned to people. There's also a closet where we're not supposed to go into; it holds various trappings and old costumes, as well as a voluminous collection of tapes of old shows dating back to the mid-nineties --- no one, even the little ones, on any of the tapes are old enough to be at the camp anymore.

The forest is enormously wide, extending beyond vision in all directions. Other than a cottage in the far distance and the trailer I just came from (which looks horribly out of place) the forest seems to be empty of human influence.
