<p>The room is comfortably cool. There is a fireplace with a fire that burnt out during the night. There is a very comfortable gray-blue sofa in front of the fire place with several homemade looking patchwork quilts piled messily on top of it. There are also a couple of matching armchairs. To the sides of the fireplace are bookshelves reaching to the ceiling, packed with books. The floor is concrete but covered with a thin carpet. There are a couple of tall windows on one side and a door that leads to the rest of the house on the other. In the space behind the couch are various musical instruments: a guitar, a tuba, a viola, and a couple of music stands.</p>

<p>The forest is enormous. It stretches as far as the eye can see to the left and the right. There are tall grasses with insects buzzing about which lead to young saplings of oak and beech and pine. Behind these trees the forest grows ever taller as one goes deeper. Gorgeous massive spreading trees can be seen a ways in. All the leaves are a rich green, though the air is still cool. The sun is bright, almost oppressively so, outside the forest, but inside it filters through the leaves and falls onto the ground below in dappled patterns of gold and green. Very beautiful. The grass is very short inside the forest and while there is a bit of underbrush, it's still very clear and easy to see through. In the distance one can see mountains with raptors of some sort circling overhead.</p>

<addl>Note that the trees get larger as one progresses into the forest, as if the adults had more impact late in the subject’s life. Again, note the change from complete freedom (oppressively bright) to somewhat restricted (filtered light).</addl>

<p>The path is little more than a track, maybe wide enough for two people to walk on side-by-side. It is very well-traveled. Roots and logs crisscross in places, but they never provide any real obstructions and often are convenient places to sit and rest. There are no particular markings, and the path winds a lot, but as it's well-traveled it's difficult to get lost.</p>

The pebbles are gray and brown and tan with white sand. There are water plants along the banks. To the right the stream plunges into a deep (shoulder height) pool with a large tree overhanging it and continues on. To the left the stream is uncovered and reflects the sunlight. It is a bit deeper and one can see larger fish swimming in the water.</p>
