It's amazingly spare, white walls, white floor, but not blindingly lit, and the cool side of warm. There is a computer on a desk, a high-backed gray leather swivel chair, a futon, and books and clothes in piles on the floor. There are no windows, but there are ventilation grates.

Tall trees, possibly oak, with black trunks. It's late afternoon, but not getting dark yet.

The path is full of twigs and small branches, but walkable. It doesn't look like the kind of thing that humans use...at least, not often.

It's a small stream, water tumbling over pebbles, running fairly straight. The water is pure and bitterly cold.

It's a rusty old World War Two-era canteen. It's pretty battered up, and partially sunken into the ground.

It's rusty and caked with dirt. It's of a fairly modern design, made of aluminum. It's probably a house key or garage key.
