The forest looms darkly over me. The trees intertwine and fight for prominence. A few feet into the trees, no light penetrates. It is threatening and scary and the trees are very tall.
The path is narrow and twisted, edging its way through the trees, which seem to reach out towards anyone on the path. It is nearly overgrown.
It disappears under a waterfall hundreds of feet high that empties into a turbulent pool of white-capped water. Here light can reach the ground, which is naturally cleared for a distance from the pool. The water is freezing cold.
It is a small light-grained wooden bowl. It's polished smooth and filled with clear water.
It is an old-fashioned copper key that looks like it unlocks some type of castle door. It has intricate curlicues.
