It's of a nice lukewarm temperature, rather well decorated although in drab colors that taint the entire room. There are ornate decorations...nice chairs, a piano, of a nineteenth century style decor. there is an oriental carpet and hardwood underneath.
It's a barren wood. There are sparse trees, and the leaves and underbrush crunch as I step. It must be autumn, as there are no leaves on the trees, letting the ample light reach to the ground.
It's not so much of a path as a simple cleared area. Narrow, with leaves covering most of it, it is easily navigated but barely visible, blending mostly into the surrounding ground.
A shallow stream but very wide. Shale or slate for most of it, with just enough water to run merrily over it. Nothing much in the water, as there was nothing much in either the room or the woods so far.
It's an earthenware flask, deep red/brown, lying in the leaves. There's a bit of leather string tied about its neck, useful for carrying it with.
It's a big, brassy key. It has a large handle and the brass plating is rubbing away slightly, showing iron underneath. There's a ribbon attached-deep red-that's old but not fraying. It might unlock a door in a very old building--an inner door, to a library perhaps.
