I awake in a simple but warm surrounding. It has two large ceiling fans in the cathedral ceiling. There are thick wood shutters on banks of windows on both ends of the room. There is a king size bed with a warm comforter and lots of fluffy pillows. There is a TV and stereo in a built in entertainment center. The walls are beige, the carpet is a quality berber. There is a dresser, a treadmill, and a leather couch.

The forest is filled with tall white quaking aspen. The leaves are green and high. The forest is close-in all around but there is still lots of light.

The path is narrow but well worn. It has roots passing through it and some rocks making progress comfortable but slow. The path is clear.

The water is clear and cold it is frothing and just wider than I can jump across. I need to look for a rock to step on to get across. I have to look for a a rock that is larger than most so the top will be dry and not slick with moss. If I fall into the water I will be cold and chilled and uncomfortably wet.

There is plastic picnic cup on the bank. It is blue.

The key is bright against the dark moist dirt of the path. It is a large key with a leather fob on a ring. It is a Jeep key.
