I am lying in a soft, warm bed with flannel sheets and a blue plaid comforter. My boyfriend lies asleep next to me. The room is comfortably cool. The sunlight is shining in through the sheer drapes. A glass of water and my glasses set on a simple night stand next to me. There is also a chaise lounge chair, an armoire that holds the television inside it, and a wooden dresser with a mirror.
The forest is made up of leafy bushes and many kinds of trees - birch, oak, walnut, redbud, and maple. Some of the trees are tall and strong, others are young and tiny. The forest is fairly bright. The sun shines through the top of the forest.
The path is narrow, only enough room for one or two people to walk. The path is curvy, yet fairly easy to navigate. The path is not well-traveled or clearly marked. Only a person with a keen sense of perception notices the path, other people stick to the main trail.
The water passes through a small stream. The stream is shallow enough that I could walk across it. I can see the clear blue water running downstream, over the rocks that line to the bottom. Small minnows and wildlife can be found in or around the water. The environment seems peaceful and calm.
The cup is made of clay, like a coffee mug. It is a tall, skinny cup with no handle. The cup is colored tan and green, resembling the colors of nature. There seems to be some water in the cup.
The key is old and made of tarnished silver. The handle of the key is detailed and ornate. I think the key unlocks a door to a house.
