The room I awake into is odd because I've never been there before, but familiar because it is filled with objects that I identify from my life: pictures of my girlfriend, momentos from my youth, various stories that I've written and pictures that I've drawn. The room is cool, almost as if a breeze is blowing through out it.

The forest is huge. The trees tower up to the sky, and even from the outside, I see no end to their height - as if they touch the face of the sun, itself. The trunks are massive, and I realize that there are not actually many trees there, but the ones that do exist completely obscure my vision past a few meters. The forest seems peaceful, presently, but the capacity for great danger also exists here, a fact which sticks out in my mind.

The path looks as if it was constructed by a dyslexic crack-head with a Ph.D. in engineering - because, the road itself is very well-constructed - beautifully paved with ornate designs along the edges. However, it is also screwy because it seems to purposely weave in and out around every tree that it comes in contact with. From my vantage point, I don't see it going anywhere.
