It is old and very ornate. I awake on a settee that is a dark pink with paisley patterns. The room is warm and there are very fine furnishings. Lots of art on the walls.

The forest is quite dense and consists of old forest Douglas firs and other deciduous trees. Although the forest is dense, it is fairly bright as the sun is shining strong above the trees.

The path is easily navigated, although it is fairly narrow. It is also quite visible, but I get the feeling that it is not well-travelled.

The path ends at the edge of a ravine with a river running through it. The drop to the river is approximately thirty feet. The water itself is rushing and looks very cold.

An old tin cup with a thin handle. There are numerous little dents in it. It looks old but is not rusted.

The key is quite long and heavy. It has a deep lead feel to it and resembles an old skeleton key. I think it unlocks a heavy wood door.
