The room is warm and inviting. It is decorated with large, overstuffed chairs and rough hewn tables. There is a large fresh flower arrangement on one of the tables in the center of the room. There is a crackling fire in the fireplace. The double shuttered windows are open to a fantastic ocean view on an overcast day.

The forest is thick with tall redwood trees. Light filters down into the forest.

The path through the forest is wide and easily navigated. Many people have followed the path.

The path ends at a small rocky stream. The water moves slowly and is chilly but still inviting.

There is a small canteen on the bank of the stream.

The key is an old fashioned skeleton type.. it looks like it might unlock an old chest.
